The total number of ballots cast in the 2018 General Election has reached 8,955 after 1,529 voters participated in early voting, Tuesday.
The number of ballots cast represents 15 percent of the 59,514 registered voters in Madison County.
The early voting site is located in the auditorium of the Madison County Agricultural Complex at 311 North Parkway.
Early voting will continue until November 1.
Voting hours are 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., weekdays, and 9 a.m. until noon, Saturdays.
Election Day is November 6.
In order to vote, a photo ID issued by the State of Tennessee or the U.S. Government must be presented.
