There were 1,681 people who participated on the final day of Early Voting in the auditorium of the Madison County Agricultural Complex at 311 North Parkway, Thursday.

There were 19,519 ballots cast in early voting, which is about 33 percent of the 59,514 registered voters in Madison County.

That number will rise slightly as absentee ballots continue to arrive by mail.

All remaining voters must vote at their designated polling place on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6.

In order to vote, a photo ID issued by the State of Tennessee or the U.S. Government must be presented.
