MADISON Co – Early voting remains steady in Madison County.
In Madison County 1045 voters cast ballots in a period of three hours during early voting Saturday morning.
Bringing the total number of voters to 7365 who have thus far participated in Madison County’s general election. This number represents 11.7% of Madison County’s 62,990 registered voters.
Early voting will continue through November 3rd. Early voting hours are from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm each weekday and from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 29th. On November 2nd and 3rd, early voting close at 6:00 pm.
You must present a photo ID issued by the State of Tennessee such as a driver’s license or a handgun permit. Voters may also use a Federal ID such as a passport or military ID. The photo ID does not have to be current in order to be accepted. The Tennessee driver’s license does not have to have the voter’s current address in order to be accepted. Photo ID from other states will not be accepted. A college ID will not be accepted even if it a state college.
