Drugs, weapons, cash found during arrest of Jackson man by JPD, Metro Narcotics, CIT, Gang & Street Crimes Unit

From the Jackson Police Department –

Jackson Police Officers from the Metro Narcotics Unit, Criminal Investigation Division, Gang Unit, and Street Crimes Unit executes a search warrant at 114 4th Street arresting 43-year-old Demarkeis Weddle.

On April 5th at approximately 9:30 p.m., investigators with the Jackson Police Department executed a search warrant at the above address that yielded a significant quantity of narcotics.

During the search warrant, investigators recovered approximately 5.5 pounds of marijuana, 2.5 pounds of methamphetamine, approximately 1.5 pounds of heroin, 106 packages of marijuana (1 gram each), 633-suspected Ecstasy pills, 2 rifles, 1 shotgun, 4 handguns, 4 bottles of Promethazine/Codeine syrup, along with $5278.00 in U.S. currency. Investigators also seized 205 pairs of Air Jordans, 110 ball caps, and a 2008 F-150.

Weddle, a convicted felon, was taken into custody without incident and charged with Possession of scheduled 1, 2, and 6 with intent, Possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, Possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
