A Domestic Violence Call led Jackson Police Department and SWAT officers to a north Jackson house. Wednesday morning about 2:15 A.M., Jackson Police received a call about a domestic assault in progress. According to Jackson Police Chief Julian Wiser, a man and woman were inside a home in the 30 block of Farmington Drive. The woman told police 25-year -old Cortrell Bond assaulted her with a handgun. Cortrell Bond is described as a black male, five feet nine, skinny build. Bond was last seen wearing no shirt and red shorts. According to police, Bond has several active warrants with both the city and the county, including domestic vandalism, a community corrections violation and violation of probation.
