Disturbance leads to 3 arrests at North Parkway Middle School

Madison County Sheriff john Mehr reported that three adults have been arrested at North Parkway Middle School, 1331 North Parkway in Jackson.

According to a press release, the MCSO School Resource Officer was called to assist in a distraction in the school’s office at 1:10 p.m., Monday.

A parent caused a commotion and refused to leave.

The SRO used his chemical spray and electronic control devise and arrested a female parent, Arlene Pugh. She was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assaulting a Law Enforcement Officer.

Her adult Daughter, Zyaire Lewis was arrested and charged with assault and disorderly conduct.

Another adult was arrested on an unrelated matter, Nissan Mitchell. She had an outstanding warrant from another county in Tennessee.

The Sheriff added that no students were injured, and order was restored.
