Demolition continues at the site of the former Allenton Heights – an affordable housing development on Allen Avenue – between North Highland Avenue and North Royal Street.

After the area has been cleared, construction will begin on the Cottages of Blue Creek.

The Cottages will consist of 11 buildings – seven will have five units, one will have three units, and one will have two units,

There will also be a two-story building offering 18 units.

There will also be an administration building.

Construction continues on three buildings at Blue Creek Apartments – located on the west side of Royal Street.

Apartments will consist of eight units in one two-story building between Allen Avenue and Preston Street, a three-story story, 22 unit building, and a three-story 24 unit offering.
