No foul play has not been indicated, but a deceased body has been found inside the New Southern Hotel, 118 East Baltimore Street.
The Jackson Police Department, the Jackson Fire Department and the Medical Center EMS are working the scene and await a medical examiner.
South Liberty Street from Baltimore Street to East Chester Street is blocked.
