The second annual Rotary Basketball Classic came to a close with MidAmerica’s 64-58 win over Bethel.
Jovana Jovovic led MidAmerica (6-1) with 16 points and Morgan Martin led Bethel (5-5) with a game-high 17.
Shawnee State (Ohio) 63, Westmont (California) 48
Bailey Cummins scored 23 points and Madison Rideout added 12 for Shawnee State, which improved to 6-3 with its win over Westmont.
Joy Krupa led Westmon with 14 points.
Freed-Hardeman 56, Campbellsville (Kentucky) 49
Carrie Hatchel scored 13 points and Jamie Crum added 11 in Freed-Hardeman’s 56-49 win over Campbellsville in the Rotary Basketball Classic at Oman Arena, Saturday.
The Lady Lions (6-1), handed Campbellsville (7-1) its first loss of the season.
Martin Methodist (Tennessee) 74, Montana State-Northern 69
Martin Methodist (7-3) placed four players in double figures, and held off Montana State-Northern, 74-69.
Brooklyn Blanchard’s 18 points led Martin Methodist, but Montana State-Northern’s Jacy Thompson led all scorers with 24.
Montana State Northern falls to 5-3 with the loss.
Vanguard (California) 52, Columbia (Missouri) 50
Vanguard overcame 29 percent shooting to hold off Columbia, 52-50.
Amber Alexander scored a game-high 17 points and teammate Victoria Chea added 13 for Vanguard, who remained unbeaten at 4-0.
Ashlee Marlatt led Columbia (4-3) with 15 points.
University of Providence (Montana) 59, Cumberland (Tennessee) 36
Emilee Maldonado scored 16 points and Stephanie McDonagh and Parker Esary added 10 each as Providence coasted in its 59-36 win over Cumberland.
Kyra Tucker (13 points) and Micah Norris (11) led Cumberland in scoring.
