MADISON COUNTY, TN – The Madison County Sheriff’s Office would like to congratulate 731 Crime Stoppers Director Mike Johnson, for being recognized with the Crime Stoppers USA 2025 Coordinator of the Year Award at the national Crime Stoppers Training Conference held in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Director Johnson, who recently celebrated his 10-year anniversary as Director of Crime Stoppers with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, has devoted over 40 years to law enforcement and to fighting crime in the West Tennessee area. His tireless work and innovative leadership have made a lasting impact on community safety and engagement.
In addition to Director Johnson’s individual honor, 731 Crime Stoppers was also recognized nationally, receiving the Crime Stoppers USA Social Media Award for excellence in community outreach and online engagement.
Sheriff Julian Wiser commended Director Johnson for his outstanding service, stating:
“Director Johnson’s commitment to public safety and community involvement is unmatched. His leadership within 731 Crime Stoppers has not only made a measurable difference in solving crimes but has strengthened the bond between law enforcement and the citizens we serve. We are proud of this well-deserved recognition.”
The annual Crime Stoppers USA Training Conference began on October 24 and continues through October 27, bringing together law enforcement and community leaders from across the country to share strategies, training, and success stories in the fight against crime.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office commends and congratulates Director Mike Johnson and 731 Crime Stoppers for this great honor and their continued service to Madison County and surrounding communities.
