If all goes accordingly, Coyote Blues is scheduled to open at 1430 Union University Drive in Thomsen Farms, about one year after the popular restaurant closed at 4 Stonebridge Boulevard.
“We hope to open in March,” Barry Nabours said, “The right opportunity came along at that location, and basically, we’ll offer the same menu and a full bar.”
Nabours, who owns Coyote Blues, is franchising the restaurant from the previous owners.
Nabours said he expects to staff 25 to 30 employees.
The 2,600-square-foot location was home to Blue Coast Burrito, which opened July 2017.
Blue Coast Burrito closed January 17, 2019.
