It has been an interesting news week. Our world is not events, it’s interpretation.
Storm damage and death from New Orleans to New Jersey! But President Biden does not just mention FEMA relief for weather victims. The President interprets “climate change” and we must pass laws to protect the environment.
“Our freedom is under attack. The government has moved into places it does not belong!”
Who is saying that? Millions of people upset with the President for declaring Covid mandates! Millions of people upset with Texas for outlawing abortion after the first six weeks of pregnancy!
In Florida an anti-riot law (passed post George Floyd) is declared unconstitutional by a federal judge.
Critics of the law contend the law was racist, intended to squelch protests by African-Americans.
Washington, DC prepares security in anticipation of a September 18th rally. That rally will declare “murder of a patriot,” the January 6 shooting by a Capital Police officer of a Capitol invader.
Any action by President Biden this week, (the visits to storm damaged areas, the Covid mandates, remarks concerning 9/11) dismissed as “the President’s attempts to distract attention from Afghanistan.”
For those of some age there is the memory of Detective Joe Friday and Dragnet on TV, “Just the facts, Mam. Just the Facts!”
Just the Facts!!
Did that world ever really exist?
If it did, it has ended!
