(October 31, 2013) Jackson, Tenn.- The City of Jackson announced a plan to create a new Civic Master Plan for the city.
The process, named “One Jackson,” will ask for public participation in the planning process.
The plan hopes to address land development and use, transportation, parks and open space, the environment, neighborhoods, community facilities, and other facets.
The first community workshop has been set for 7PM on Thursday, November 14 at City Hall.
According to a release from the city, the workshop will, “(a) review the purpose of the Comprehensive Plan, the planning process to be undertaken, and the schedule for the study; and (b) secure local views on problems, issues and potentials within the community.”
