Charles W. Adams II has announced his resignation as president of the Jackson-Madison County African American Chamber of Commerce.
Adams has been acting president of the Jackson-Madison County African American Chamber of Commerce since Jan. 1, 2019, and his resignation is effective, today.
Adams said his newest role as caretaker of his mother will not allow him the essential time and attention needed for the proper devotion needed to the organization.
“As my main priority, I am very grateful to have the opportunity to provide and care for my mother,” Adams said. “I am particularly honored to have served as president for an organization that has been part of our community for numerous years.”
