JACKSON Tenn (April 29, 2015) – The candidate’s financial reports due and by Tuesday candidates for Jackson’s mayoral seat had turned in their final campaign finance reports ahead of the May 5 Election.
According to campaign finance records filed at the Madison County Election Office Lowe Finney topped the campaign fund-raising period.
Finney raised $21,049.50 for the reporting period of April 1 to April 25. He spent $137,235.58 according to records.
Incumbent Mayor Jerry Gist reported $10,939.95 during the same period with expenditures of $47,943.99, according to his campaign report.
According to the respective campaigns, James Baxter reported $395.25 for the period and spent, $395.25, Tim York reported no fundraising or spending during the period, and Charlie Motton did not file a report.
