Valerie Odell – August – and Kimberly Butler – May – were recognized as employees of the month at West Tennessee Healthcare.
Valerie Odell, LPN IV, an employee at West Tennessee Healthcare for over 38 years, was named employee of the month for August.
Valerie was presented the award by Deann Thelen, VP/CEO, Jackson-Madison County General Hospital and Kimberly Crews, director, Perioperative Services, during the West Tennessee Healthcare’s Board of Trustees August meeting.
As a member of the Pre-Admissions team, she is known to go above and beyond in all that she does.
She is well respected by her fellow workers, physicians and their office staff.
She is a wonderful and tremendous asset to West Tennessee Healthcare.
Kimberly Butler, a member of the Human Resources team, was recognized as West Tennessee Healthcare’s employee of the month for May, but was unable to accept the award due to COVID-19 restrictions.
She was presented the award by Wendie Carlson, WTH vice president, and manager Karissa Schemer, manager, employee relations.
Kimberly has been with West Tennessee Healthcare for a total of 16 years.
Her co-workers say she is a role model for anyone with any personnel issues. She is ALWAYS available. Kimberly is always smiling and takes such pride in her work. She loves her job and it shows in her work. She is the perfect fit for her job!
