Grace Media Group – NEWS/TALK 101.5 FM, 93.1 FM & WNWS.COM, visited with Sam Bryant, founder of ‘The Rock Digital’ for a Question & Answer session to discuss his company’s goal to provide the very best experience for their prospective clients.
Question: First, a little background information. Where are you originally from, family, and education?
Answer: I grew up in Dresden and Martin, Tennessee. I graduated from Dresden High School and immediately went into the workforce. My natural curiosity has allowed me the opportunities of traveling the states, working for many large organizations, starting and growing businesses in multiple sectors; both public and private.
Since graduating, I’ve obtained certifications in health technology, business technology, construction, and automotive maintenance. I have also had the pleasure of working in industries such as manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, corporate retail, information technology, health technology, and industrial maintenance. My wife thinks I’m the world’s most interesting man, but the jury is still out on that one.
Question: Would you tell us about the digital company you represent – when and why was it founded and how has it been received?
Answer: The Rock Digital is a collaborative effort that started three years ago through conversations with partners, friends, and other business owners.
We found, after having many conversations, that digital is really hard. It’s hard for the consumer to understand and it’s hard for tech geeks to explain. Information Services Select is our parent company, and we already offer web development, so why not expand our service offerings to include Digital Marketing?
After all, we are the “tech geeks” that create these products; why not take our natural understanding of the nuts and bolts to offer another service to our community in Jackson?
The Rock Digital has been well received with all industries we have served. Although we were officially founded this January 2024, we have a long history in this space. Information Services Select was founded in 2008 to bring fortune 500 experience to small and medium sized organizations. We currently serve clients from $150,000 to $2 Billion in annual revenue.
Our goal is to provide the very best experience for our prospective clients, even if we don’t serve you directly. We’ve been asked “How is your digital agency different”? Simple: We are transparent.
Transparency allows me to tell the truth and to train my staff to be the same way. I tell them “Clients don’t care if you don’t know, they care if you are willing to find the answer.”
Question: How is ‘The Rock Digital’ going to elevate Grace Media Group – specifically NEWS/TALK 101.5 FM?
Answer: The goal of this partnership is to provide digital products to Grace Media Group’s team. We want to ensure GMG has all the opportunities to be successful in the media space. Media is a $500+ billion industry, the largest in the United States, in fact. We want to ensure GMG has a bright future in the Jackson and surrounding markets.
Question: Will you be working with the on-air personalities, the sales staff – or both?
Answer: My primary objective is to serve the entire staff at Grace Media Group. 1 Peter 4 challenges me to be a faithful steward of my gifts. One of those gifts is to serve others. I plan to be on-air with radio personalities, as-well-as working alongside sales staff serving their customers.
Question: Will you tell us how this is going to benefit or assist the customer in sales and the consumer?
Answer: We have a wide range of services that garner growth on the web. Our favorite part of web-based growth is the ease of acquisition tracking. We can track exactly where people are arriving at your site, what they see, and how long they are engaging with you.
A few of our services include Social Media Management, Website Updates or Creation, Search Engine Optimization, Retargeting, and Geofencing. We don’t just sell you some fancy things that you don’t understand.
In fact, I won’t sell you anything you don’t understand. We meet with you, discuss your goals, formulate a strategy, meet again to discuss the strategy, then execute the strategy. We have a few packages, but they don’t fit every model or niche. Our goal is to give every client that little extra touch of finesse.
