The Jackson Chamber is pleased to announce the hiring of Rachel Tucker, the new Economic Development Coordinator.
According to a press release from Brittany Crockett – Social Media & Online Content, Adelsberger Marketing – Tucker is a graduate of Union University.
She previously interned at the Jackson Chamber as an Economic Development intern in 2019-2020.
“Rachel made quite an impression on our team when she served as our economic development intern and we are excited to welcome her back to the Jackson Chamber in an official capacity as a staff member,” said Mandy White, Senior Vice President of Economic Development, “Her experience within the internship, as well as her work experience after college, will allow her to hit the ground running and contribute to the team immediately. We are excited to welcome her and look forward to having her as part of our work family.”
The Economic Development Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of confidential economic development and administrative duties.
Rachel will also maintain a daily record of accounts receivable for the organization. Additional responsibilities include updating social media accounts, and providing support and administrative duties in other areas such as workforce development, leadership development, events, and others, as needed.
