The Partners

Caleb Meriwether –

A Jackson native, Agency Principal Caleb Meriwether graduated from the University of Alabama and then attended law School at the University of Memphis.

Having practiced law in the West Tennessee area for nine years, Caleb now looks forward to using his legal background to help clients make informed decisions when it comes to finding the best policy for their personal and commercial needs.

Cy Young –

Agency Principal Cy Young grew up in Alamo, where he has been working and serving the community since graduating from Mississippi State University in 2004.

Having served in the Insurance industry for over 15 years, Cy understands the need for an agency that is focused, forward-thinking – always putting the client first. His experience as an independent agent will give Haven knowledge and skills to break the mold of traditional agencies and best serve the community.

Erin Phillips –

Agency Principal Erin Phillips grew up in Trimble. Erin graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin before attending the University of Memphis school of Law. As a litigator for four years, Erin sharpened her skills in negotiation, client advocacy, and dispute resolution.

This led her into the Insurance industry with a focus in employee benefits. Erin’s skill set allows her to provide our clients a well-executed employee benefits package which is a critical component to the success of any organization.

Sarah Smith –

Sarah is a Jackson native, wife, and mother to three girls. She is the co-founder and co-host of the popular podcast, Say It Southern. Sarah is an active volunteer in the Jackson community for several organizations.

With her experience in real estate sales and as a mortgage broker, Sarah is excited to join the service-oriented team at Haven Insurance Partners.

R.E. Butts –

R.E. Butts lives in his hometown of Jackson, with his wife, Natalie, and two children. After graduating from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, R.E. began a career in business.

Growing several successful companies, R.E. saw the need for an insurance agency that can handle a diverse set of risks.

He felt compelled to start a service-oriented company that consists of hard-working men and women with diverse backgrounds who can provide a level of service, advice, and expertise unlike any other agency.
