Town & Country REALTORS is pleased to announce the addition of Jane Betts to the company’s sales team.
According to a press release from Lyndsay Best – a Digital Solutionist with B3 Creative Agency – although newly licensed as a REALTOR, Jane is not new to the world of real estate; she brings with her over 12 years of experience in real estate investment as well as a wealth of experience with the Jackson area.
“I’ve lived in Jackson most of my life,” she said. “I was educated here, worked here, lived here, raised my family here. And in retirement, I kept returning to real estate. This is the perfect match for me.”
Before becoming a licensed REALTOR, Jane already invested in real estate, owned rentals, and flipped properties, so getting her real estate license became the logical next step for her.
She also enjoys increasing her education in the profession and looks forward to serving a wider range of clients in the process. This idea of building community also drew her to Town & Country as she sought a firm to join.
“Everyone supports everyone as a team, not as competitors,” she said of the atmosphere at the company. “The foundation here is encouraging and supportive, both at the education level and in everything else.”
Outside of real estate, Jane has a background in education; she holds a Master of Education in Guidance & Counseling from the University of Memphis. She also loves gardening and participates in Master Gardeners when she is not studying and applying a new facet of real estate. Her drive to learn as much as she can about the profession stems directly from her love for Jackson and desire to see it grow.
“Jackson is my community, my investment,” she said. “I’m excited to play a part in building a city I love.”
