ATA, a leading tax, accounting, and advisory firm, announces the addition of Beth Garner to its partner group.
According to a press release from Alexis Long, ATA Marketing Director – Garner brings with her an impressive track record of over 25 years in the accounting industry, with an emphasis on employee benefit plan audits.
Prior to joining ATA, Garner was the national practice leader for the employee benefit plan audit
practice for BDO, a top-five accounting firm in the nation.
Beth has significant experience auditing defined contribution, defined benefit, and health and welfare plans. Additionally, she has provided consulting on plan improvements, mergers and acquisitions, plan terminations, frozen plans and correction of compliance failures.

As a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Georgia, Garner’s credentials are bolstered by her
involvement with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, where she previously
served as a member of the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Committee.
She is also a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs. Garner has been a frequent speaker on various technical issues for the EBP industry and professional organizations. She has also written
numerous articles and been quoted in professional publications regarding the employee benefit
plan industry.
