Skilled probate and estate planning, trusts, real estate, and creditor rights attorney Matthew R. West has recently joined Rainey Kizer Reviere & Bell PLC, in its Jackson office.
According to a press release, West has about 17 years of experience representing clients in the areas of probate, estate planning, conservatorship/guardianship, contract drafting, real estate litigation, business organization, business acquisition, contract litigation, business litigation, trial practice and appellate practice.
“We are pleased to welcome Matt to the RKRB team,” said Firm president Dale Thomas, “He has an outstanding professional reputation in the legal community in the areas of estate planning and probate, and he will strengthen the firm’s ability to service clients statewide in those areas.”
Matthew has recently been named a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He has served the legal profession and academic/civic communities in such positions as President of the Jackson Madison County Bar Association; Board of Directors for Young Lawyers Division of Jackson Madison County Bar Association, Board of Directors for Jackson Exchange Club, Vice-Chair for Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, Chair for Board of Trustees of Trinity Christian Academy, and Barrister of the Howell Edmunds Jackson American Inns of Court.
Matthew holds a J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Union University. His memberships include American Bar Association; Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law Section of the American Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Estate Planning and Probate Section and Jackson-Madison County Bar Association.
