Ted Austin was appointed to the Employee Health Plan Benefits Committee, and Mike Baughn was appointed to the Retirement Plan Administrative Committee, when the Jackson Energy Authority held its monthly meeting, Thursday.

Both appointments are for five years.

Ted Austin is the vice president of Customer Service and Community Relations at Jackson Energy, and fellow employee Mike Baughn is the vice president of Information Technology.

Austin, who joins Monte Cooper, Braxton Williams, Ben Lovins and Mike Stegall on the Committee – replaces Thomas Varughese, whose term expired June 30.

Baughn, who joins Matthew Coffman, Jackie Arnold, Nancy Nanney and Mechele Williams on the Retirement Plan Administrative Committee – replaces Steve Raper, whose term expired June 30.
