The Jackson Clinic recently added Dr. Syed M. Mohsin Raza to their Nephrology Department at 700 W. Forest Avenue.

Dr. Raza joins Dr. Victor C. Nwazue, Dr. Chima O. Oleru, and Dr. Tracy Townes-Bougard.

According to a press release, Dr. Raza received his Doctor of Medicine degree from King Edward Medical College, Pakistan. He completed his Residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.

In addition, he has completed a Nephrology Fellowship at Wayne State University, in Detroit.

Dr. Raza is Board Certified, American Board of Nephrology and American Board of Internal
Medicine.

Nephrologists treat medical diseases of the kidneys and all associated body parts, particularly those leading to kidney failure, with dialysis and kidney transplants.

Most diseases affecting the kidney are not limited to the organ itself, but are systemic disorders.
