(November 5, 2013, Jackson, TN) – This morning, in response to a shooting incident that occurred in Lincoln Courts, Bus #14 was detained by the Jackson Police Department. Police officers detained and evacuated the bus.
It was determined there was no weapon on board the bus or with any student. Students were put back on the bus and transported to their school.
Transportation Supervisor Gran Ward and CDL Supervisor Mark Roehs were at the scene to work directly with the JPD to ensure the students’ and bus driver’s safety.
