Burglars who broke into a home on Mifflin Road at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, have been arrested by Deputy Michael Allen of the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.

The two men, who are being held at the Criminal Justice Center, were inside the home when a resident – a lady – entered to find the unwelcomed visitors.

According to a report from the Sheriff’s Office, the burglars held a gun to the lady’s head, but she was able to get away and call the authorities with a description of the vehicle the burglars were driving.

A majority of the items taken from the home have been recovered.
