One day after the TBI positively identified remains discovered over the
weekend as those of Holly Bobo the family held a press conference

Attorney Steve Farese acted as spokesperson for the Bobo family to address
the media regarding recent developments

Farese said the family is coping minute by minute, hour by hour, day by
day, the family is asking for time and for privacy to mourn. farese said
that discovering Holly’s remains has been a “bitter sweet? moment for the
family adding that now is the time for grieving.

Sheriff Keith Byrd said locating the Holly’s remains for the family was a
top priority for his department but he never expected it to happen so
quickly.  Byrd has been in office less than two week as the new Decatur
County Sheriff.

Byrd says his new goal is “to see the people who did this are punished”.
