From BlueOval SK –

BlueOval SK parent companies, Ford Motor Company and SK On, officially formed the joint venture July 13, 2022.

BlueOval SK has come a long way since then.

We started with two empty sites in Tennessee and Kentucky that now house three BlueOval SK battery plants, each measuring approximately 4 million square feet.

BlueOval SK has grown to more than 1,000 team members as of this summer.

We welcomed more than 60 new employees to the team this week in Tennessee! The group includes production operators and maintenance technicians assigned to work at the BlueOval SK battery plant at BlueOval City in Stanton!

New employee orientation is taking place at the new Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) at Stanton. The facility serves as a resource for education and training for students and future employees at the BlueOval SK battery plant in Haywood County.
