In the last five years, approximately 150 houses have been demolished in Jackson, and this time the target was a house on Hollywood Drive near Airways Boulevard.

It is the second demolition this month.

An apartment complex on the corner of Cedar Street and West King Street – two blocks northeast of Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church – was reduced to rubble on March 8.
