Jackson, TN – Matthew Berry appeared before Judge Blake Anderson in Jackson City Court, Friday.
The court has ordered Berry to remain in custody without bond pending further proceedings.
Berry is charged with First Degree Felony Murder and Attempted 2nd Degree Murder, after a shooting at 2310 North Highland Ave., Sunday.
He is currently in custody at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex, after surrendering to the Jackson Police authorities around 1:20 p.m., Thursday.
This is an ongoing investigation.
