An underage alcohol operation conducted by Jackson Metro Narcotics resulted in fines of two convenience stores and the suspension of one beer permit during a Show Cause meeting at Jackson City Hall.
BP, 1625 East Chester St., was fined $1,500 for selling beer to an underage informant.
East Chester Express, 1296 East Chester St., was fined $2,500 for selling beer to an underage informant.
Exxon, 1911 South Highland Ave., accepted a 30-day suspension of beer sales instead of paying a $2,500 fine.
