Beer Board approves business permit for convenience store

The Jackson Beer Board approved one business permit during a special called meeting at Jackson City Hall, Tuesday.

Chad Long, representing a business known as Mac’s Convenience Stores LLC, Circle K, 20 Johnson Creek Boulevard, was approved for selling, storing, and distributing for consumption off the premises.

Mapco Express, 20 Johnson Creek Boulevard (Interstate 40 Exit 87), originally opened at the location in December 2017.

With parking for 35 vehicles, the convenience stores offers 14 fuel pumps for automobiles and four fuel pumps for trucks.

The 5,500-square-foot convenience store was constructed by Bosco LLC Contractor Services of Jackson on 4.12 acres.
