The Jackson Beer Board approved four special occasion permits, and one application for a convenience store during its monthly meeting at the City Council chambers, Tuesday.
The consideration of a request from Dave Bratcher for a non-profit organization known as Star Center, Inc. was approved for a special occasion permit to sell, store and serve beer at the Jackson Fairgrounds Park, October 18.
The event will be the third annual ‘Dancing with the Stars.’
The consideration of a request from Ann Keyl for a business/organization known as Sacred Heart of Jesus High School for a special occasion permit to sell, store and serve beer at the West Tennessee Farmers’ Market, October 25.
Stanley M. Flowers was granted a special occasion permit for a business/organization known as Madison County Ducks Unlimited to sell, store and serve beer at the Jackson Fairgrounds Park, November 1.
Matthew Stephen Altobell, the executive director of the Jackson Downtown Development Corporation, was granted a special occasion permit to sell, store and serve beer on Liberty Street in downtown Jackson, November 1.
The event is the annual Liberty Street Block Party.
Chandrakant M. Choksi was granted a permit for a business known as Mega Mart located at 1400 Highway 70 East to sell, store and distribute beer for consumption off the premises.
