Looking to fill a void while participating in the revitalization of downtown Jackson, Baker’s Family Pharmacy opened Friday, at 200 West Main Street.
“We felt this was an underserved area … the need was here, and we are so excited to be here serving the Jackson community,” owner Sherry Middleton said. “People (had) to travel several miles for their prescription needs, and here, we’ll give personal care.”
Sherry also owns Family Pharmacy in Lexington and Scotts Hill.
Locals will remember the 2,500-square-foot facility was home to Bakers Drug Store, which closed in March 2012.
Business hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturdays.
