With 12 years of restaurant experience, Aurora Santillan Palacios is opening Azte K Bar and Grill and Dance Hall at 63 Heritage Square.
“We hope to be open in early March, and we’re going to have chimichangas, burritos, quesadillas, tacos, steaks and sandwiches,” Aurora said. “We’re also going to have Mariachi bands on Sunday, which is a family day.”
The restaurant will offer seating for about 80 people, and business hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Thursdays; 8 p.m., Friday to 3 a.m., Saturday, and 8 p.m. Saturday to 3 a.m., Sunday.
Restaurant hours are 11 a.m., to 8 p.m., Sundays.
Aurora had her request to sell, store and serve beer on the premises where sold by the Jackson Beer Board, Thursday.
Due to a lack of a quorum on Tuesday, the board rescheduled a request from Aurora Santilliam Palacios for a business known as Sin Frontras Inc., which is doing business as Azte K Bar and Grill and Dance Hall to Thursday, at the City Council Chambers at Jackson City Hall.
