Jackson Christian School begins the 2023 high school football season with a roster of approximately 53 players.

The Eagles have eight starters returning on defense, and four on offense.

Coaches quote –

“We are super excited about this year,” said Darby Palmer, Jackson Christian’s head football coach, “We graduated a very talented senior class, but we have a lot of guys who worked hard this offseason getting better and really driving our culture – where we want to talk about love (and) serve and care for our teammates.

“We truly want to be great, but we want to be servants first, and it’s been awesome seeing these guys connect – in the locker room, in the weight room, and on the field – but also off the field.

“We return eight starters defensively, so we’re really excited about our defensive unit – a very strong linebacker crew, defensive line, plus our secondary, as well. All those guys have gotten a lot of Friday night snaps.

“Offensively, we return four starters, and we are excited about our younger guys we have up front. They’ve grown a lot since spring – and we’re excited to see what they can do.”
