The three Regional Meetings for 2021 were held this week across the state, bringing together leaders of TSSAA member schools to discuss legislative proposals and elect representatives to the organization’s Board of Control and Legislative Council.
The A. F. Bridges sportsmanship awards were also presented to the winners in each Athletic District and Grand Division.
District 7 – which incorporates a majority of West Tennessee, were selected during a ceremony at Liberty High School.
Pat Dillahunty – Huntingdon Special School District – has been named the school system administrator of the year.
Anita Tucker – South Side High School – has been named the principal of the year.
Ken Northcut – Trinity Christian Academy – is the athletic director of the year.
Susan Humphry – Chester County High School – has been named the female coach of the year.
DaMonn Fuller – South Side High School – is the male coach of the year.
Scott Courtney is the official of the year.
Jim Farmer – is the contributor of the year.
