Reverend Jessie & The Holy Smokes open year No. 5 at the Amphitheater at the Market, at 7:30 p.m., Friday.

“We’re excited,” said Jimmy Exum, chairman of the Amphitheater at the Market. “We have 11 free concerts with four new entertainers, but we’ll continue to have some very familiar musicians.”

Visitors are welcome to bring their own food and drinks, but food trucks will also be available on North Shannon Street.

Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome at this family friendly event, and parking is free throughout downtown.

In case of rain, the concert will move to the West Tennessee Farmers’ Market.
