Amphitheater at the Market moves to Civic Center to open 6th year, Friday

The venue may be different, but the event remains the same, when the Amphitheater at the Market opens year No. 6 at 7:30 p.m., and Rev. Jessie & The Holy Smokes takes the stage at the Carl Perkins Civic Center, Friday.

“Because the weather is expected to be inclement, we decided to move the concert to the Civic Center,” said Jimmy Exum, chairman of the AMP, ” We haven’t decided how we will handle the food trucks – perhaps pull them under the canopy – but I’ll have to talk to Jerry (Gay, AMP committee member) to find out the specifics.”
