Effectively immediately, Chief of Staff Alex Reed has resigned from his position. This decision follows Mr. Reed’s acceptance of an Alford plea deal in the legal case involving charges of stalking and electronic tracking.

We acknowledge the gravity of these charges and are committed to upholding the principles of integrity and transparency within the Mayor’s Office.

Our focus remains on serving the city with the highest standards of conduct during the transitional period.
