JACKSON, Tenn.– Traffic in north Jackson was backed up Wednesday evening due to a three-car accident  .

The accident happened just before 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of Oil Well Road and Steeplechase Drive.

EMS and other first-responders were on the scene, however they said there did not appear to be any serious injuries.

Two people were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
