JACKSON Tenn, (October 30, 2014) — Early voting has wrapped up across the Volunteer state. The turnout in Madison County began slow but activity picked up in the final days.
Kim Buckley tells WNWS “turnout for a November election ended in a blaze of glory today as 1497 ballots were cast”.
According to Buckley, the election director, “everything went great, things went smooth” and they are now focused on getting ready for Election Day.
As of the close of early voting on Thursday, a total of 10,346 Madison County voters have now voted in advance of the Tuesday, November 4th State General Election.
Buckley said, if you plan to vote on Election Day, you must go to the precinct located on your voter registration card. If you don’t know where you should vote on Election Day, you may check your voting status at the website which is madisonelections.com.
