Jackson’s Clark and Juanita Shaw spent time in prayer as they walked around the National Mall in Washington, D.C., with 50,000 plus of their best friends during the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association National Prayer March, Saturday.

“This has got to be one of the largest and more important events to ever take place in the Christian world,” Clark Shaw said, “Juanita and I joined tens of thousands of Christians from every state in the union and it was broadcast live to millions of others around the world.

“It only had one goal and that was to PRAY … Pray for our nation and our leaders at every level of government.

“We also prayed for our military and first responders, our Congress and the Supreme Court, families and so much more at seven prayer stops along the two mile route between the Lincoln Memorial and the U.S Capitol.

“This was a great day in the life of our country as we asked God to heal, forgive, restore and bless our nation.”

The Lincoln Memorial, WWII Memorial, Washington Monument, the White House (in view), National Museum of African American History & Culture, National Archives and the U.S. Capitol were the seven stops during the March.

“I count it a great privilege and blessing to gather and pray fervently with thousands of other believers from all over the nation,” Juanita Shaw said, “God heard each prayer and now He will be faithful to answer each one.”
