Hadestown: Teen Edition blends myth, music, and modern themes in a bold retelling of the ancient Greek tales of Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone. The story follows Orpheus—a young musician—on a daring journey to the underworld to save Eurydice, who’s been drawn into Hadestown by promises of safety. There, she discovers a bleak world of control and endless work. With a dynamic score rooted in folk, jazz, and blues, Hadestown explores love, sacrifice, power, and hope.
