Tonight HPD officers and detectives responded to Dollar General after receiving a report of a possible sighting of wanted murder suspect Austin Drummond.

After thoroughly reviewing surveillance footage officers were able to confirm that the individual seen in the store was not the wanted suspect.

We appreciate the vigilance of our community and want to emphasize: we do not discourage anyone from calling in possible sightings. Even if it turns out to be a false alarm, every tip could be the break we need to locate and capture a dangerous individual.
