Matthew Pierce, 18, is held on a $1 million bond, charged with aggravated assault after allegedly shooting a friend during an argument on Bringle Road. Tipton County Sheriff Shannon Beasley said deputies responded to Baptist-Tipton Hospital around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday after the victim reported being shot by Pierce. The victim’s condition was not disclosed. Pierce’s court date is set for July 29.
