From the Jackson Police Department

Jackson, TN – On July 15, 2025, at approximately 12:20 p.m., Jackson Police Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 400 block of Preston Street.

Upon arrival, officers located a scene but no property damage or victims.

Preliminary investigations revealed a description of the suspected vehicle involved.

A vehicle matching this description was located at a residence in the 500 block of North Cumberland Street.

Officers obtained a search warrant, and the Jackson Police Department’s SWAT team was called in to conduct a search of the residence. The residence was cleared, but no suspect was found.
