From the Jackson Police Department

All lanes of South Highland Avenue have re-opened.

[Jackson, TN] – On June 11, 2025, approximately 12:47 AM, officers responded to a report of a crash involving a single tractor trailer that lost control of its load and overturned. During the accident, two utility poles were struck, and a large amount of debris was scattered, resulting in multiple downed power lines across S. Highland Ave, causing significant blockage.

JEA, JFD, EMS, and the Street Department all responded to the scene. Fortunately, no major injuries were reported for the driver. Crews are continuing to work on clearing the wreckage, completing repairs, and reopening the roadway. However, a lengthy road closure should be expected.
