JACKSON, Tenn. – The City of Jackson, TN’s Health and Sanitation Department will hold its ninth Community Clean-up Day (Mattress, Tire, and Furniture Disposal event) on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Public Works Yard located at 164 Conalco Drive.
This bulk waste drop-off event is designed to help residents properly dispose of large household items that are difficult to discard through regular collection services. Citizens will be able to drop off items such as tires, mattresses, furniture, bulk items over 50 pounds, and harvest décor.
Event Guidelines:
- Event is free for City of Jackson Residents
- No Commercial Businesses
- 4 Tires per vehicle
- Furniture (including recliners, and couches will be accepted)
- No appliances with Freon or Refrigerant
- No Hazardous Waste
