Dear parents,

I apologize for this late communication, but I want to provide you with an opportunity to prepare for tomorrow. We will implement an early dismissal on Wednesday, April 2, due to the forecasted severe weather and feedback from community partners in emergency management.

While the severe weather isn’t expected until late afternoon, we want to ensure everyone has ample time to get home before the storms begin. This is especially important for bus drivers who drive multiple routes. We will begin our early dismissal process after making sure all children have been provided lunch. As a fellow district parent, I realize an abbreviated schedule will be challenging for some families.
